2. For the use of our Services
These Terms and Conditions apply to Client(s) who engage us to curate their travel.
Responsibility: Ishara Journeys provides travel advisory and curation Services. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, and private charters. We are responsible for the quality of our advice, the precision of our technical vetting, and the accurate processing of your bookings. The final delivery of travel services (the flight, the hotel, the transport) is the sole responsibility of the third-party provider. We do not own, manage, or operate these entities.
Professional Fees and Transparency: Ishara Journeys may charge a professional service fee for the research, design, and management of your itinerary. This fee is disclosed upfront and is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it compensates for our professional time and expertise. We may receive commissions from our travel partners. This does not influence our advisory; we only select partners that meet our benchmark of quality.
Bookings, Deposits, and Price Fluctuations: A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation from us. For flight bookings, flight prices and cabin availability change in real-time. Quotes provided are valid at the time of issuance but are subject to change until the ticket is officially issued by the airline.
Cancellations and Refunds: We advocate for our Client, but are bound by the rules of our partners. Each airline and hotel has its own cancellation and refund policy. We will provide a summary of these for your specific journey. If you are eligible for a refund from a provider, we will facilitate the request on your behalf. However, we cannot compel a provider to issue a refund that falls outside their established terms.
Documentation, Visas, and Health: We will guide you at each stage but it is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport (with at least six months validity), necessary visas, and any required health documentation (vaccinations or tests) for your destination. Ishara Journeys is not liable if you are denied boarding or entry due to incorrect documentation.
Travel Insurance: Ishara Journeys strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance. This should include coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. We are not responsible for financial losses that would have been covered by a standard travel insurance policy.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ishara Journeys shall not be liable for any injury loss, claim, or damage (including incidental or consequential damages) arising out of:
- The acts or omissions of any third-party service provider, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, and private charters.
- Delays, cancellations, or overbookings.
- “Force Majeure” events (weather, strikes, political unrest, or global heath emergencies).
